((OOC: Explanation - after watching several hours straight of the latest Umineko english patch, i decided to go back to the 'fake marriage' verse and write up some theories of magic in that world.))

"What is magic?"

Whoa...that was deep. Really deep. Again I am positively blown away by the thought and care you've put into this story and it's background. Just wow. It was wonderful reading all the theories behind this story. Everything makes perfect sense too. Magic being powered by desire, the difference between being born into magic and being taught, the whole being immortal not by living forever but by being remembered forever, the gods granting believers magic and performing small miracles for those who need their help and that as long as humanity desires, gods will continue to live. I do love that you address the difference between desire/what people want and need (omg the "Dig A Little Deeper" song from Princess and the Frog comes to mind with this...I'm terrible don't pay attention to me) as they aren't the same thing.

and...that little bit with Scrooge at the end...is that a bit of foreshadowing I see? |D*hithit* As always I loved reading this and learning more about this story. Thank you for sharing dear.

I don't know why, but magic in fictional works always fascinates me, maybe because everyone has their own way of interpreting it. If I ever bother to do more research about genetics, I'll probably to implement that more into the story too. As silly as it sounds, I wanted to make the theory 'realistic', that it could be applied to real work logic... why miracles exist in our world. There are things we still can't explain in real life, after all... and I'm rambling. But I'm glad that you enjoy what I've come up with so far! After a bit I thought I was just rattling out needless nonsense.

(That song is awesome, always good for a pick-me-up ♥ ) and oh geez that ending, I'm glad you liked it. I rewrote it like six times because I wasn't satisfied with how he would respond when he was alone. even now I don't like it XD Oh well! What's important is that it was enjoyed! You're welcome, and thanks for reading!
