[Backdated to Valentines] [Luigi -> Milimili]

Feb 23, 2011 19:19

Valentines Day was always a good day to make baked-goods! Luigi headed down the halls, half-blind due to the pile of pink boxes he was carrying. He was planning on delivering various cakes and cookies to his friends, wrapped in the pink baked-good boxes that he had bought. Of course, he would need to fill the boxes before he delivers them, and that ( Read more... )

Milimili was stuffing her face with...

...something. In fact, it already looked like whatever she was eating so... delicately and obsessively had already been half-eaten by someone else. Falkner, perhaps?

Or maybe you couldn't tell.

Anyways, that was what she was up to in the kitchen. Her head whipped around and her eyes lit up for the briefest moment, expecting her new-found love interest to be waiting at the door. Instead, her expression dulled, and she continued to chew the substance, pretending Luigi didn't exist.

As Luigi had just finished worrying about whatever had pricked him on the arm, he looked up to see Milimili doing... whatever she was doing.

Something about that worn dress and long, wire-y hair was strangely... attractive. He couldn't help but blush when Milimili looked at him. "Oh! H-Hello!" He tried to avoid eye contact and began to pick up the boxes, only to clumsily drop each one every time he glanced up at Milimili.

"Hi," she responded flatly, a bite of chewed-up miscellaneous food in her mouth. She hoped he'd just buzz off; she had some thinking to do. About Falkner.

Why couldn't this guy just turn into Falkner right now? She glared at her food- his food, that he had been eating. Where was he?!

Luigi eventually got the boxes into a few piles and leaned them against the nearby counter. Now that he was done with that task, he could turn his attention back the wonderful girl across the room! Even though she didn't seem that interested in him, it was worth a try, right?

"So, u-uh... Watcha eating there?"

She swallowed.

"Oatmeal. With raisins." She wondered if Falkner just ate this because it was there or maybe... he liked it. She couldn't help the dreamy expression wash over her face before she gave Luigi the stink-eye again.

"Oatmeal with raisins... That sounds nice." Even though it didn't really look that appetizing. To tell the truth, it looked like it had been sitting around for a while...

Luigi moved closer to Milimili, twirling his mustache and trying his best to look like a charming gentleman. It wasn't really working. "So, uh... Do you like oatmeal...? We could... go out and eat oatmeal together..." What a ladies' man.

The ghost frowned, groaning. "Ohhhh, no no no. Ew, you are so gross," she commented, pulling Falkner's oatmeal away from Luigi and sliding further down the table. Not now!, she thought to herself. If only this guy had come around when she wasn't too preoccupied with Falkner... Then she could have a lot of fun with him.

Luigi stopped, mid-mustache twirl, and frowned. "G-Gross...? But... I thought you liked oatmeal..." Luigi was obviously very confused. Did that mean that she didn't like oatmeal...? Because other than that, there was nothing wrong with going out to eat oatmeal with someone you didn't even know!

She stared at him. Her thoughts poured out of her ears and suddenly she couldn't even think about Falkner.

Wh-Why was she looking at him like that? Did he do something wrong? He thought everything was going smoothly! He was halfway to winning her heart!

"I... Uh... I-Is something wrong?" Luigi looked down at his shirt, then looked around the room. Was there something about him that was bothering her? Was it something in the room?

No. She definitely couldn't think about someone as beautiful and elegant and wonderful as Falkner at a time like this, where some loser was asking her out to oatmeal.

She wanted to return those thoughts.

So she gave Luigi a nice, human-version of a Sucker Punch infused with all the dark goodness of hatred. Right in the gut, too.

Well that... really hurt! Luigi stumbled backwards, holding his stomach.

"Wh-What was that for?!"

"I told you, you're gross. Meaning, 'I hate you,'" she clarified, crossing her arms. "I don't have time for losers like you unless I'm giving you a good taste of humiliation."

Speaking of which... as she headed for the door, Milimili added, "Which you should expect, now that you crossed my path. You should be careful when you mess with a ghost."

"But... I love you..." Luigi nearly whimpered.

As Milimili left to room, he went back to picking up the boxes, looking as if his beloved mustache had caught on fire and just fell off of his face in ashes. Meaning to say, he was very very sad.

...

What a pathetic loser, she thought. She almost went back to dump a kettle of water over his head for kicks, but- WAIT, over there! Was that blue hair? Her Falkner senses were going off, and so Milimili sped down the halls, humming happily and running to catch up with the love of her life.
