Hey Guys,

So I don't recall how long its been since I've written in this bad boy, but I figured I should update everyone on how I'm doing.

The "Kevin" Saga:
So for those of you who don't know, I had a learning experience a while ago with a guy that I must share with the world. We "dated" for a month, and I use quotation marks liberally when I say dated, because we never actually met in person. He seemed cool, and sent me some pictures of himself........
So we broke up after I got tired of him making excuses for not making the time to come and see me, considering that I didn't and still don't have a car. Then I met Rob and my love life couldn't be more pleasing. (I luv you baby) Anywho, my friends M1 and M2 (who shall remain nameless just in case) and I start rebuilding the shambles of my relationship with Kevin into a friendship. This lasted until about last January. The entire time, I slowly got more and more wary of his behavior. He would always pick fights with me, and sometimes provoke fights between me and M1. Not cool. In January, Kevin leaves the US for Spain on a study abroad program....but apparently, his cell phone company doesn't charge him anymore for the roaming. He also recounts to us that he has just inherited an estate from his grandparents in Mexico, which includes a ranch, mansion, beach property, three hotels, and a private jet, which Kevin promised to hire M1 to fly when they graduated. In January, communication falters, and us on the US side of things start wondering whats going on. We come to find out that Kevin now has a new boyfriend on the West Side, and apparently, this new boy hasn't met Kevin in person either.
About three months later, relationships are being severed left and right, and then something comes to our attention. M2 catches wind through the gossip vine that Kevin actually doesn't exist. He's the internet persona of a guy named Ignacio, and the photos are faked. His entire life is a huge lie. Needless to say, NewBoy is now our good friend, and we're making plans to confront Ignacio in a big way.

In other news, my composition from last quarter won the College of Arts and Humanities Thomas Gause Creativity Award for Musical Composition. Yay $150 and yay resume boosters. (Congrats also go out to our good Dr. G for getting Distinguished Chair of the Department for 2004/2005!)

If I left anything out, please tell me, cause I sometimes forget about the important stuff that just happened in my own life.
