Pretty miserable..
Still fighting off this stupid cold. I'm really starting to feel the weakness setting in, as I've lost quite a bit of sleep. I was really hoping I'd be over it by now, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. At least I have tomorrow off to kind of recover.
Saw 3 or 4 barn owls in the loft, today! All of them were a little over a foot tall. They were sooo gorgeous! I really do need to start bringing my camera with me to work. It was a rare opportunity to see that many at one time. They seemed friendly enough, but I had to get a couple of them to move as they were sitting right on the alfalfa that I needed. Felt bad to bother them like that, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. The only things that bother me about them is they poop everywhere and they leave LOADS of dead rats and mice everywhere. Course, the latter is kind of a blessing in disguise. One less rodent to possibly cause illness. Hehe...My boss keeps a barn cat around to deal with the rodents, but I have only seen him actually catch 1 mouse in my 2 years+ of working there. He mainly goes after rabbits and lizards. I wonder if my boss ever considers that when he says he hates the owls.
Got an appointment for Diana on Tuesday morning. I don't know if she'll be going in to surgery that day or if I'll need to make a seperate surgery date. I figure it will be a different date, but we'll see.
