Going technie on Cell
Scooting along at 60km/h on a rainy day WITH your cell phone in your pocket = bad (very bad)
I pulled out my cell phone on destination only to find it water logged. Bleh.
This is the second time. I haven't learned.
After trying techniques like airing it on paper towel, dismembering it, sticking it in jar of rice and just staring at it while punching the POWER key did nothing. Sigh....
I hit the Fido store to do the inevitable today - buy a new cell. Usually I make them last forever, but not this turn.
I got excited a bit about the million and 1 choices out there - and even contemplated the iphone at one point. But really, I just wanted a phone, with one exception. A full keyboard - if you can call it that, small and shrinked that it is.
I bought an LG GW300FD without much hesistation - otherwise known as the LG Gossip. Because:
-it was cheap
-I could cover it with my earned points.
-I paid $13.00 for it - YA!
-it had a full "keyboard"
I'm tired of texting on my 9 digit cellphone. I don't care much for accessing email but I wanna type faster so I'm giving this blackberry'isque imitation a chance.
And so far...it's actually kinda cool.
