Activating a credit card
I recently activated a credit card. Sometimes you're lucky and it gets done in 2 seconds without having to speak with a representative, and other times you're not.
The thing that bothers me the most is after the person confirms you're the actual cardholder, they'll try to sell you some crap "while we wait for activation". Don't give me that BS - you activate the damn thing with the click of a button. I had called them while eating dinner and watching TV, so I continued doing my thing while they went on and on about some loss insurance.
Next time you have to experience this, I challenge you to try and sell them something! Like a faster internet connection, or cell phone plan perhaps.
