Lasagna is good. That's what I had for dinner... and asparagus. Mmm...

Anyway, I'm not doing any homework until Sunday night, mostly because... well, I just don't wanna. I'm doing my chem on Sunday evening, and finishing up my paper on MLK Day, coincidentally (not really). Oh yeah, I got my schedule for next semester!

Period 1- 3d year Spanish
Period 2- Psychology/Sociology
Period 3- Pre Calc
Period 4- Honors

I specifically asked the counselor lady to keep me in teh same Honors class... since that's where everybody I know is going to be anyway. So yeah, I hope PreCalc is better than Int. 3... Most of the stuff in Int 3 I've learned already. There were a few things I didn't know, but it's not like they were hard to learn... And, it's my last semester of Spanish! Yay! I'm so excited to be done with it. Although, I have considered taking Spanish all the way up to my senior year. I don't know. I probably won't.

I didn't get Human AP. :(. They only offered it first semester, so I have to take it next year. Oh well. I picked Psyc./Soc. just because I wasn't about to take zoology. Ick. It's probably some stupid class where they make you memorize all the scientific names of every animal ever known or something stupid to that extent. It would probably include writing an entire research paper explaining the process of the scientific naming process. *sigh* So yeah, that's why I have psyc./soc.

I have to sign up to take a drive for Driver's ed. next weekend, just because I don't have time during the week to do it. I would have done it on MLK, but I have an appointment at 7, and I didn't know how long it would take (the drive is from 8-10). Oh well. At least I'll have it done.

You know, I just noticed that the Nazi's swastika (sp?) is oriented to the right as opposed to the left. In Hinduism, the swastika is actually a symbol of wealth/goodness/life/prosperity/etc. when it's oriented to the right... But when it's oriented to the left, it means death/destriction/poverty/etc. I wonder if the Nazis/Hitler had any idea, or if they just thought "Hey, that looks cool! Let's use it as a cult symbol!" Hmm... I would put that in my research paper, but it's a little (ok, a lot) off the subject. Oh well. I *am* a walking depository for useless information, am I not? I mean, I *did* read a 10 page article about caffeine in National Geographic... it was actually really good, too. Sad, I know.
