The big mystery

There is a ghost in Amy's apartment complex that likes to steal essential yet fairly inexpensive items. Here is why I've come to this conclusion:

Back in September, maybe two weeks after Amy moved in, two out of the three remotes for the TV/DVD player went missing. We seriously turned the whole tiny apartment over looking for these remotes. I clearly remember leaving them on the arm of the couch. The next day they were gone and almost five months later still no trace.

About a month ago while on my way to work I couldn't find the cord that connects my iPod with the stereo in my car. I figured it must have gotten lost under the seat or something. Later on this same drive I reached for my crappy $10 sunglasses (huge so I can just put them over my regular glasses when I'm driving) and they were not in the place I always keep them. I don't take these sunglasses out of the car, they are that ugly. The next day I did a thorough cleaning of my car and the sunglasses and iPod cord were definitely not in there. I've looked in my room/house, but there is absolutely no reason for me to take either of those things out of the car ever, so you'd think I'd remember doing that. There's a small chance I left my door unlocked, but if it was a thief, why would they go for a $5 audio cord and $10 sunglasses and not take my stereo, CDs, $5 in change, jacket, sweatshirt, blanket, etc?

I'm being haunted and now I'm scared to go to bed.
