Pan's Labrynth
I really didn't get what i expected with this one. First off, it had subtitles and it isn't that i mind them as a general rule however, this movie was so visually interesting that it was hard to decide if i wanted to miss, the dialogue or the visuals.
Aside from that... many of you know how easily grossed out i am .... there were atleast 4 scenes during which i had to keep my eyes closed the entire time. I have to give the sound effects person props ... they were so good that i could still tell exactly what was going on in excruciating detail.
The main bad guy is a VERY VERY VERY BAD man.
The main character was really excellent. I love it when children can really act. It is just amazing to me.
aside from that... saw some people at the theater that i would rather not have seen. Went home, played a game of Yatzee and went to bed. very quiet weekend. Sorry that i didn't make it to where everyone else was Saturday. I just couldn't handle it. Happy Birthday Kirk!
