i love that livejournal saves a post if you closed the page and forgot to press the post button
thats what happened to my last post.
fantastic.
anyways. this is just a little rant about dr. office and people in general.
i am tollerant and not actually mad, but sometimes i just wonder about what goes on in peoples heads.
when someone with an eating disorder who is gaining weight (on their own and doing so successfully) comes into the office b/c of migraines... and is asked 'are you eating well' and i say yes, and they say how is your weight, and you say... up.... their response should not be
"i could tell because you look fuller in the face." NOT THE RIGHT ANSWER. BAD BAD BAD. what the fuck. why would you say that to someone who feels fat all the time. clearly this nurse (dr.s helper) did not understand eating disordrs one bit, becasue she would never have said that.
either way i left the office, went to starbucks and ate my snack.
nothings gonna get me down.
