Let patience have her perfect work
Last night was pretty amazing...
soo yeah, I'm not even going to try and explain the awesome-ness of the Walnut//Turpin drum war. Cuz you just had to be there..and if you're really spectacular, then you were.
After mingling with some cool-kids at teh Skyline, I celled my bro and then literally walked ACROSS THE FUCKING STREET to his wonderful new apartment above Adrian Durban's. The entry-way is all marble and wood, and his room has the most gorgeous view of the old-fashioned Skyline sign, and corner-fountain...I wanted to take a picture very badly. In black and white. Because I bet whoever lived in the apartment 50 years ago had the exact same view. Also, I'm officially in love with old houses. Aside from being romantically aesthetic, there's just so much history seeping out from the cracks in the walls. [and I mean that in the best way possible] It just seems that life would be so much simpler with radiators, wood floors, fireplaces, and tubs with feet.

Simple pleasures, right?
Once again, I'm desperately jealous of my brother, but not in a malicious way at all...
I just can't wait to get out of this house.
...I asked him to adopt me, in return for home-cooked meals.

Me and him hit up Northside today like some cool kids.
HOLY CRAP, it was my first time to Shake-It Records, EVER!! ::cries::
