And here we go!
So I got off of work, came home and talked to a few people for about 15 minutes, and then I hoped in the shower. After that I head over to Quinn's house to pick him up so that we could go down to Tremont in Charlotte to see DRAGONFORCE!! =) w00t w00t! The concert was friggin awesome. There were 3 opening acts, Intethod, a local band from Hickory, Columns, I death metal band that wasn't too impressive but the guitarist could play, and The somethingorother, The body, and me. Yeah, I know, a moutful, but there were damn good, well, other than the screaming growl, but I must say that bad was amazingly talented and new how to put on a show.
Enter Dragonforce.

They were absolutely phenomenal. I've never seen anyone play like that, it was just simply amazing. The concert was well worth the trip. I was up there in the front, loud as speakers blasting in my ear the whole time, thrashing about, banging my head and just having a fuckin awesome time. I will defeintly go and see them again the next time they are within comfortable driving distance. I mean, the place was just packed with energy. Dragonforce is a band that really knows how to put on a damn good show. They went on at about 10:15ish and played til near 11:45 and it was just simply mind blowing. They were loud fast and heavey the whole time. One of the guitarists, Sam, was drinking a beer on stage through a straw most of the time, he probably consumed about 4 or 5 beers during the show and by the end he was just drunk. Who know how many he had before going on, but he was just about chuggin the shit. Anyways, long story short, that was a fucking brilliant concert.
Now for the not so awesome stuff. While trying to find my way home, we got onto 77 north and found the the 85 south exit. While taking the ramp, I lost control of the car and ended up being stuck in a ditch for about 2 hours. It sucked ass. Niether of us are hurt and the car was minimally damaged, still drives =) my Vic is a beast of a car. So I didn't get home til 4:10 this morning, and Im tired now, and Im going into work.
