No Fair

Apr 09, 2008 02:02

Today was so not fair! The teachers didn’t even call on me once today. I was totally ignored by them. Even Professor Sparda didn’t call on me today. I was so angry, I sat in the back of the class floating my quills to tickle anyone who answered a question ( Read more... )

It's a good thing you didn't try that in my class.

Yeah, but you would have at least paid attention to me. I hate being ignored so much. It's not fair.

An idealistic attitude, but not entirely practical. I am afraid that you will have to resign yourself to life's being unfair once in a while.

Well of course, but I still want attention. I'm adorable and smart. How can you not call on me?

(ooc: Wondering that myself. I can't decide if she's smart enough to take Ancient Runes.)

Perhaps they want to make sure other students know the answers as well?

*pouting* Yes, Professor. It would be best if they know them too... still could have asked me a question about my favorite cartoon or something.

Why not start a campaign for fair representation in class discussions?

Yeah, I could, but that's more Gryffindor territory. It's also a lot of work. Maybe if a couple of my friends want to do it.

(ooc: After a bit of consideration, I don't think she's smart enough to be in Ancient Runes. I also don't think she'd have the attention span.)

Well, it's up to you.

[[Aw. But that doesn't stop interaction outside of class! XD]]

Aw, thank you, Professor. You'd call on me right? Why is Angicent Runes so hard? I wish it wasn't.

(ooc: XD)

*wryly* Whenever appropriate, you may be sure. As for my subject, it is often the case that worthwhile information must be attained through toil.

Ah, where's the fun in that? Why can't you teach something else?

The fun, as you put it, is in the achievement. With the proper terminology, much can be accomplished that would take far too long to do through standard magic.

Still sounds like too much work. I guess I can see your point though. Nothings quite as fun as learning a new move on my broom or making a new friend.

*sighs... that wasn't exactly his point, which was precisely why the girl was happier outside of his class*

Well, taking pride in your achievements will definitely move you forward in life.

Yes Professor. Mashiro'd rather have fun now though.

(ooc: It has come to my attention that Mashiro talks about herself in the third person so her voice will change to reflect that... please someone stop me from killing myself out of annoyance.)
