I've become obsessed with Andy Samburg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone's old Lonely Island stuff. I've been on youtube for countless hours over the past couple days. All you have to do is type in "The 'Bu" and allll of their stuff shows up. The 'Bu started out as a skit about a talking cartoon squirrel with the back story being a teen drama (a spoof of the O.C.). Then they just took off wih the The 'Bu. You actually really get into the plot and they can kind of be slow moving but there are random funny things that happen throughout (i.e. Andy Samburg's watch being a sharpey drawn picture of a penis). You may think it's lame but this shit landed them all jobs on SNL.
K. Soo I haven't told any of my friends from home this but I guess I'm going to Florida next week! Or, actually the week after. For Spring Break. Sam set this all up and six of us are driving to Panama City Beach (God help us) and staying in a really cheap room on the gulf. It sounds like a really good time but I'm kind of having doubts. I think I'd rather be home spending time with my friends and the fam buuut if I don't go then I'd sccrew everyone else money wise. So I guess I'm going. It'll be fun.. I think. I hope.
