My last couple days of summer break were ruined, as I was scrambling to get my english summer assignment done.
I woke up yesterday at 4 o'clock and could NOT fall back asleep. I showered and got ready at 6 and was at school by 715 (I have to go early with my mom). Turns out I didn't need my english homework done. I sang at mass, we shook the freshman's hands, I changed my spanish name from "Carmen" to "Isabel", school was long and boring anddd I found myself chugging a Redbull before practice. We made our shirts into cuttoffs. Sweet.
Speaking of practice, on the first one (monday) I was really out of shape and I threw up THREE times! It was so awesome.
Anyway, today was actually a little bit better. I'm so glad that religion is my last period because this is what we did:
-It was Buddy's... I'm sorry...Mr. Blomquist's birthday so he played the guittar and sang us some songs (Mostly Bob Marley).
-We wrote down what we personally thought the definition of a friend was.
-We discussed what makes a good friend.
It was actually a pretty good discussion. It was deeper than it sounds.
Here's my sched.:
English
Pre Calc
Chorus
Spanish
Lunch 1
Study Hall
Biology
Econ/20th Century Hist.
Religion
I never thought I'd enjoy being a senior this much, but now I walk with confidence knowing I'm on top. I know that sounds like what a typical power-hungry upperclassman would say... but it really IS a good feeling.
I can't wait for Spirit Day/Homecomming!
