There's usually not a lot of interest in primary elections, but the top 3 candidates for SLC mayor are running literally neck and neck. Remember when Curtis won by just 12 votes last year? I have a feeling that the two that emerge from today's votes will win by just a handfull.
I registered earlier this year to become a "permanent vote by mail". It's a little like absentee voting, and I get a paper ballot.
I've had my ballot for weeks, and only just filled it out yesterday. It was supposed to be postmarked the day before election at the latest, or I could turn it in in person to any polling stations today before 8 p.m. I took mine personally to the elections office at the county building this morning.
