The largest anti-war day in history. Millions of us around the world (and 500 or so in Salt Lake City) were right about the Iraq War then, before it even started.
From
Wikipedia:
Millions of people protested in approximately 800 cities around the world. According to
BBC News, between six and ten million people took part in protests in up to sixty countries over the weekend of the 15th and 16th; other estimates range from eight million to thirty million.
The thing I remember most about this particular event was the positive energy for the whole 2 hour or so protest. Of all the anti-war/peace events I attended to the lead up of the Iraq War and after, this one felt the most hopeful. There was a real sense of community and family amongst all attending.
February 15th is also the anniversary of the day that my sweetie and I had our first date.

I think this photo was from one of the Salt Lake City papers -- not sure if it was the Salt Lake Tribune or the Deseret News.
