Crete
Tomorrow i leave for Crete. Its going to be good, I get to see my brother.
I payed and planned for this trip when i was very very down this past month after my trip to the states...
its my run away from everything i know trip heh.
No its more of a dull ache, and maybe a trip isnt needed anymore for soothing, but im still happy to be going.
I booked a package deal holiday thing for the first time. So i got the flight, hotel+brekkie all inclusive in the price which was good, for 7 days. it only cost me about 150 more than just the flight alone would have cost me.
So im gonna have a double room for me alone, with bathroom and either a terrace or balcony depending what floor ill be on. Im hoping for Balcony.... i dont like ppl being able to walk by my window hehe. Im also hoping for a Sea view. we will see.
I have to take a train to Zurich though... as this package thing the flight leeaves from there.
So i have a 3 hour train ride first and then, about a 3 hour plane flight. not too bad and then ill be in Crete,... where its still summery!!! not like here where we are having late october/november weather! grrrr. we had the hottest ever July in 100 years/.... and now its like christmas is august =p
I now i never posted my pictures of the states... cuz well after i came back and was settled the unhappy events happened and I lost my happy motivation to post those.
But Crete pics will most porbbaly be posted.
In other news i decided to apply to The Kent Institute of Art and Design in the UK for the Photography BA(HONS) course. Im applying through Clearance and im still waiting for news on how the application is going and if they recieved my portfolio etc.... ill be calling them from Crete on tuesday to see how its going.
Also at work becasue they needed an extra pair of hands in the Curtain area of our dept, i was taught how to cut different facrics, straight for one thing and also in such a way that the pattern (if there is one) repeats when they get sown. Interesting. Makes me so much more tired at the end of the day though cuz i have to concentrate so much more.
Nice to see that they think im capable though and offer interesting things like this to me over the others.
