(no subject)
i just finished eating the most delicious sandwich after my first class. yes, i started school again. although i wish i had a longer break between semesters, i think i'm ready. my substance abuse professor seems pretty cool, he has a lot of life experience to offer, beyond what's inside the text book...always a good thing. i forgot to eat before class, so my tummy was out of control! the guy next to me kept looking over, and all i could say was, "God, i'm so hungry!" it was pretty amusing.

christopher has come and gone for good. :( a group of us went out to Augie's, and, you guys will never guess what i did!!! chris and i did kareoke (sp?) to the momma's and the poppa's California Dreamin'. it was so nerve wrecking! (i didn't have one drop to drink, either!!) i definately stepped out of my comfort zone...but i always admire people who can go up there and just do it, even if their voice is not so good. other than that, i'm going to ann arbor tomorrow to see my friend's band play at the blind pig....
and, oh yeah! how could i forget?? i attended the social work meeting and have an interview to intern at the waterford school district working with families whose child misses extreme amounts of school. according to the description, i'll get my own case load! which means, i get to do my own home visits, interview with the family and assess situations. of course, that isn't my only consideration for internship, there's still Haven and a few other places...they all do amazing work, i just have a hard time deciding. well, i'm signing off now!
