It was a good week

So at first I didn't really feel like updating my journal. Then I started to read my friends page. When I came home, I was exstatic. Then I started to read my friends journals, by the end, I wasn't so happy anymore. How come ppl only talk about the crappy stuff that happens to them?? Come on ppl, life's not all that bad. Sure, maybe if you were one of the half-clothed starving children in China, I would agree that ur life might be that bad, but as for the most part, my friends are not among them. So here's the Nicki challenge, to write a happy post. Tell us about something that went right in your week. Think you can't handle it? Not woman (or man) enough to take my challenge? Well that just makes you a tiny weakling then. I will start the competition with my GOOD WEEK.

I went to Pennsic (ha, already it's gonna be hard to beat that, 5 points). Abbey went with me (another 2 points for me). We set up camp, but the weather was mercifully cool while we did it (well, the suckyness of setting up camp and the good news of cool weather cancel eathother out, no points). Abbey and I took many classes at Pennsic, she learned to play the drums, I learned to juggle, and we both took dancing classes (So upbeat, yay for me, another 4 points). Every night we went to the Inner Vagabond Coffee house for tea and played many games and met many cool ppl while we were there (As we all know, I am inexplicably shy, the fact that I met a good 5 ppl simply by having a drink in the same place as them is very, very good news, 5 points, as for the drinks and games, I will award 2 points). Abbey and I watched many a battle from a top the big hill there, which was really cool cause the fighters looked really small, and it was just funny to watch thousands of them running as fast as they can just so they can smash into the people across the feild (sounds like fun, another 2 points). And of course, midnight madness I got another 2 pairs of the basket man's super long, thigh-high socks (Whoo hoo, socks! 2 points!) Unfortunatly the last night we stayed there it rained like crazy and the tent thought it would be funny to leak onto my bed so that I couldn't really sleep to well (Negative! Bad! You're missing the point of this game! -3 points!). But something good came out of this, the remaing 2 nights we got to stay at a hotel because it continued to rain for the next 2 days (Oh, well that's good... Hotel good, rain bad, hotel still wins though, 1 point) Finally we packed up to go home, it was a long drive, but not an unpleasent one...I still suck at juggling though... (Wow, I've been trying to juggle for a year now...that's just pathetic...-4 points). But wait! There's more! When I dropped Abbey off, I had the terrible news that Abbey's dad was not going to beable to go to New York with the family to go see Wicked because he had to go to Philly. Because of this dreadful news they had an extra ticket to Wicked, of course I didn't realise this until they asked me to take his place! (Omg! That's wonderful!! 7 points for looking forward to my bright future! I'm so excited for me!)

So that's how the game goes, I would have gotten a total of 23 points. Wasn't that exciting?! You too can enter the challenge. Simply pick a week from this summer that you thought was deathdefingly wonderful, type it up, and I will add comments and points in your comments section and give you a score. At the end of the week, whoever has the most points wins! (I'm not illegible of course). Better yet, there are no losers in this game, unless you get negative points... then you are a loser. Don't forget, mentioning things you're looking forward to get you points too. I will be looking at my friends page for these, so make sure I have ur username. And just so I don't look stupid, make sure you say somewhere in your post that you're taking the Nicki challenge, so I know to rate it. Final rule (I promise!), you have to post it on your livejournal, don't leave a comment on my livejournal telling me ur best week. That would kind of defeat the purpose of the game. Ok! That's it! Go and write about your good weeks so I didn't waste all this space!
