Seven Days /// Friday: Where you go

Mar 21, 2010 21:48

Everything had broken down, Kazuya thought, so why should he try to save anything now? It didn’t matter anymore and he should just take what he could get.

In the end, there would be nothing left, however.

As Jin’s lips met his, he stared into the other one’s eyes, opened his lips to let Jin have his mind. But Kazuya kissed him back, didn’t let Jin take any lead.

They both closed their eyes at the same time; none of them dominated the kiss.

It was gentle, although their lips were firm against each other’s; it was warm, reassuring, and still passionate and a little rough.

They were both soaked, their clothes clutching to their bodies and Kazuya felt his arms getting heavier, as he ran his hands over Jin’s back. He moaned softly, as Jin pulled his head back at Kazuya’s hair, took another angle to kiss him deeper.

Kazuya responded to that by biting Jin’s lip slightly, before he ran his tongue over the soft, red skin.

As they finally parted, they were both panting, the air between them fogged, and Jin pulled Kazuya close again, into his embrace, his hand still buried in the wet hair.

“It’s damn cold”, Kazuya said, because he didn’t know what else to say.

“But you just had to come here.” Jin shook his head slightly. “I knew you would run here without thinking.”

“After all, you’re here, too.”

Because he had known where it would lead to. Jin could have stayed home, let Kazuya come to this place and find it was meaningless, senseless.

But after all, Jin had wanted to give it a meaning, a sense. It had been not just about that meteor shower; it had been about them, about them taking that step.

They would have taken it; tonight, under the shooting stars.

And they both knew it. They were both aware of the fact that it would have happened, if everything had gone as planned.

So, knowing Kazuya wouldn’t let all his chances slip, Jin had come, as well. To find what he had been looking for.

He knew he had lost the game. He had fallen, had been trapped.

But, somehow, Jin didn’t regret it at all.

Kazuya suddenly struggled, drew away from Jin and the older one watched him picking up the umbrella. He held it over the two of them again and reached out his free hand to take Jin’s, before he leaned in and gave him another kiss. Water drops fell from his hair to Jin’s cheeks and Kazuya smiled gently, squeezing his hand, as he drew back.

Both of them didn’t speak, as Jin walked ahead. Kazuya followed him, holding the umbrella over them as best as he could; Jin hadn’t let go of his left hand.

As they reached the small cross, Kazuya stopped, holding Jin back with a light tug. They had to part at that point.

The older one turned to him and still didn’t say a word, as he pulled Kazuya closer by his hand, tugged down the other with the umbrella, so that it was nearly touching their heads, before he leaned in and kissed Kazuya again.

He watched Kazuya’s eyes, while kissing him and this time, Kazuya let him take control of it. Jin pulled him close, let go of the umbrella, but Kazuya kept it in place, shielding them from the rain, but also from any view. Not that anyone was out, beside them.

As Jin drew away, the younger one followed him without any resistance the road down to Jin’s house.

They reached it after just a few minutes and Jin pulled open the door - Kazuya noticed that he didn’t even use a key - and hurried inside, tugging Kazuya along. He pulled the door closed with a loud noise and Kazuya wanted to say something, but the thought left his mind, as Jin pressed him to the door, and that moment, robbed him a kiss that was less gentle and calm than the ones before. The umbrella fell from Kazuya’s grip to the floor, water ponding around it.

Even so, Kazuya responded with just as much passion and roughness, but pushed Jin away then, as Jin pressed him harder against the wood at his back.

“I don’t like being controlled”, he said calmly and in an almost whispering voice.

“Sorry”, Jin answered and took off his jacket. “I didn’t mean it that way.” He walked away and turned on the light in every room he passed.

Kazuya looked a bit puzzled, but then he took off his shoes and jacket, too, and followed Jin. “Don’t you want to be a bit more careful not to wake your parents?”

Jin came from a room to his left and threw Kazuya a towel. “Mom’s not home.” That was all he answered, before he took Kazuya’s hand again and pulled him upstairs.

“Do you want to take a hot shower? Like this, you’ll most likely catch a cold.”

Kazuya looked around the room they had just walked in; shaking his head to Jin’s question, too busy looking around to really answer.

It was a rather small room, but it had a really comfortable atmosphere to it. Apparently, it was right beneath the roof, because one wall was bevelled, the one Jin’s bed was placed beneath. A window was open and Jin was at the other side of the room from Kazuya to close it. Over the bed, in the bevelled ceiling there was another small window. The rain made it impossible to look through at the moment, though.

The walls were painted in a pretty normal crème colour and there was a small table in the middle of the room and a working desk under the window Jin had just closed.

Jin opened a door and Kazuya figured he must have had a room for his clothes there, since he came back with an arm full of them.

“Here”, he said and gave them to Kazuya. “Get out of those wet clothes.”

Kazuya blinked at him, and Jin turned to leave the room. Frowning over Jin’s sudden coolness toward him, Kazuya pulled off his clothes, as he was alone and had just changed into the comfortable black sweat pants and the plain shirt, as Jin came back in; dressed pretty similar to him.

He wordlessly gripped Kazuya’s wet clothes and disappeared again; the younger one assumed to most likely bring their clothes to the dryer.

He sat down at the bed and wondered what exactly he did there.

It wasn’t like he didn’t want to be here; after all, Kazuya did not have wanted to go home again. He wanted to be with Jin.

But at the same time, he suddenly felt awkward around Jin. He probably should not have complained earlier. But he honestly didn’t like being pressed to walls; Kazuya didn’t like being dominated at all.

When someone dominated him, it also meant that person was able to hurt him.

As Jin came back in, Kazuya lifted his head and looked at him. Jin remained at the door, leaning against it.

“Where are your parents?”

“My mom’s on a trip for her job”, Jin answered.

“And your dad?”

For a moment, Jin kept silent, avoided looking at Kazuya. “I don’t know my dad.”

Kazuya bit his lip, looked at his feet. “I’m sorry, I didn’t…”

“You couldn’t know”, Jin said plainly. “It’s okay.”

“Are you all alone here that often then?”

“Just sometimes. My mom’s pretty busy in her job. She often has to go overseas or to other cities. I’m old enough to stay on my own, anyways.”

Kazuya nodded, but looked up again. “That must be lonely, though.”

Jin laughed a bit and walked over to sit next to Kazuya. “I am not like you; it doesn’t bother me that much to be alone.”

Kazuya didn’t answer for a few seconds, then he reached out his hand to take Jin’s. “Being alone is not the same as being lonely.”

“You apparently know that pretty well yourself.”

Nodding, Kazuya leaned back against the wall behind him, and looked at Jin. “You, too, don’t you?”

Jin crawled closer to Kazuya and tugged at his hand to pull him into his arms. Kazuya’s skin still felt as cold as ice and his hair was wet. Jin knew he was the same, but for some odd reason it didn’t worry him as much as he worried about the younger one. “It’s good then you’re here right now, isn’t it?”

He rather didn’t think about what exactly he meant with that. Jin didn’t know if it was good for himself or if it was good for Kazuya. Probably, because they both were lonely, it was good for them, but in a way, it also felt strange to think of him and Kazuya as them.

Even so, Jin thought then, as he trailed his lips over Kazuya’s temple to his jaw, he had to face the fact that there was just one reason to why he thought about them.

Kazuya nodded slightly and put his arms around Jin’s neck, looking into his face.

“It is, even though it probably shouldn’t.”

Jin frowned at him and ran his thumb over Kazuya’s bottom lip and then down to his chin. “If you don’t want to leave, then tell them you don’t and stay.”

Slightly laughing, Kazuya tilted his head back, just lightly to let Jin get a better hold of his nape. “The only thing I am capable of it baseball.” At some point, he had started to believe it himself.

“I don’t think that’s true”, Jin said and stopped his thumb under Kazuya’s chin, lifting it slightly to look into the younger boy’s eyes. “You know you are capable of more than that.”

“I am average. I am not better than anyone else.”

“But still not worse. So, there’s no problem.”

Kazuya lifted a shoulder and shrugged Jin’s hand away to break the eye-contact. “I am above the average when it comes to baseball, so it would be a waste, they say, if I didn’t do it.”

“It’s most likely not easy to get into a school like that.” Jin let his hand fall down to Kazuya’s waist.

“Apparently, it isn’t. It’d be a great chance.”

Jin nodded and leaned in, capturing Kazuya’s lips once again. He nipped them softly and smiled slightly at the younger one. “It is; so, you need to know what you want the most.”

It scared Kazuya that the first thought crossing his mind was a simple: You. He wanted Jin the most and it was scary, because he hadn’t known him for long at all.

“You know”, Jin said, after Kazuya had wordlessly tilted his head to kiss Jin deeper, “whatever they say, I do think you’re capable of a few more things.”

Kazuya blinked at him. “How would you know? You don’t know me well, do you?”

Jin grinned. “Well, I am still getting to know you, but I like what I find. You’re a good cook.”

Smiling, Kazuya linked his fingers at Jin’s nape. “I don’t think you are that picky, so that’s probably not the greatest compliment. But I am happy, though.”

“And”, Jin murmured and leaned in again to nip Kazuya’s lips again. The younger one automatically returned it, caught Jin’s bottom lip with his teeth to tug gently and lick it. “You’re definitely a good kisser.”

Kazuya laughed into their kiss. “That’ll help me finding a job, I am sure.”

Jin frowned. “Really, you’re sixteen. I am almost eighteen and going to graduate next year and I still don’t know what I am going to do after that. I have no idea.”

“That’s nothing bad”, Kazuya commented.

“Why is it bad in your case then? You still have time to find what you want to do.” Jin ran a hand through Kazuya’s dump hair, combing it with his fingers.

“Not now, Jin, let’s just…” Kazuya didn’t get any further, because in that moment, his lips found Jin’s again and he rather sank into that than explain anything more.

Jin automatically forgot about it, as well, and let Kazuya kiss him deeply and firm, the younger boy’s hands running down Jin’s spine and up again.

They stood like that for a while, remained there, Jin sitting comfortably with one leg spread next to Kazuya, while Kazuya still kneeled in front of him. They exchanged kisses, light touches and every now and then, soft murmurs or moans made their way in, but other than that, they kept a slow pace.

Until Kazuya framed Jin’s face and leaned in, against him, so that Jin lost his balance and fell to his back. He knew exactly, Kazuya had done that on purpose, but having the younger one crawling on top of him, kissing his minds out, Jin couldn’t really care.

Until Kazuya’s lips left his and wandered down his jaw and neck. His hands slipped beneath the shirt Jin wore and the older one noticed that neither his own skin nor Kazuya’s were still cold.

They felt rather heated up.

Jin sighed, as Kazuya bit down the skin where his shoulder met neck and then gently soothed it with his lips and tongue.

Where had that boy learned those things?

Jin forced himself to bring up his hands and gripped Kazuya’s arms, slightly pushing him back.

“Don’t.”

He almost wanted to just forget about his moral, his better conscious, as he faced Kazuya’s confused and slightly anxious look.

“Sorry, if that was…”

“It’s not that I don’t like it, Kazuya”, Jin adjusted. “It’s just…”

Kazuya nodded, smiled. “Right, I forgot”, he said then and sat back. “You don’t do that.”

Jin fell back to the mattress and covered his face with his hands. “I usually don’t. But usually, I wouldn’t kiss the person I am dating, so I already crossed the line. It’s not about that.” He took his hands away and looked back at Kazuya. “I told you I could do whatever I want.”

“Then it’s just that you don’t want it with me.”

For a moment, Jin thought about denying it. It wasn’t true, after all. But it would be easier for both of them, if he just agreed to that. So, slowly, he nodded.

Kazuya blushed immediately and Jin felt bad, as the younger one withdrew from him. “We’re both boys, after all, and I went too far and…” Somehow, it seemed he didn’t know what to say. “I am sorry.”

Jin shook his head and pulled Kazuya back, before he could get off the bed. “We went pretty far already, didn’t we?”

Kazuya just looked at him, his hand rather lifeless in Jin’s. It was cold again, the older one noticed.

“I told you it’s not that I wouldn’t like it. It’s just too much at once, so let’s take it slowly and see where it gets us.”

Kazuya slowly nodded and Jin felt him relaxing again. “It’s just two more days, however.”

Jin didn’t object to that. He thought they had enough of serious talk for one night already, so he better wouldn’t bring up now that he didn’t think at all that it would be over on Sunday evening.

Instead, he pulled Kazuya close again and pressed him down to the mattress, holding his shoulders, as he kissed the smaller boy lightly.

“For now, lets get some sleep, we’ll have to get up soon again for school.”

Kazuya smiled again, and Jin was glad to see the sparks in his eyes again. Whatever suddenly cheered him up that much- Jin was happy it did.

He lay down next to Kazuya and spread the blanket over them, saw Kazuya closing his eyes slowly.

They didn’t touch at all anymore; the rain was tapping loudly against the window above them, reminding both of them what had happened between them.

Jin waited for a while, watched Kazuya and noticed how his breathing became even, his chest rising and falling in a frequent rhythm. Only then, Jin reached out his hand to brush the hair from Kazuya’s face and shift slightly closer.

As he closed his own eyes, his hand gripped Kazuya’s slightly and Jin wondered why exactly he had that feeling of a need to hold Kazuya.

He wasn’t as vulnerable and fragile as it seemed; not at all.

But, Jin thought, he probably needed it himself just too much, since he was quite fragile at the moment.

He had lost and won at the same time.

Lost the bet he had silently agreed to with Kazuya, but won what he had always looked for.

Someone he honestly loved and didn’t want to let go anymore.

Kazuya woke up, when he noticed he couldn’t roll over.

His arms felt heavy and his legs as if they had lain in the same position for hours, so his whole body felt rather stiff.

He moaned, as he rubbed his fingers over his eyes and then found the cause of his stiffness.

Jin was laying more on top of him than beside him, his head comfortably resting at Kazuya’s shoulder and one arm firmly over the younger one’s stomach and waist. Their legs were strangely tangled together and the whole position they were in was actually quite comfortable.

Kazuya wasn’t sure if the way Jin held him was rather cuddling or if it was protective.

In any case, Kazuya thought and ran a finger over Jin’s cheek, it felt nice.

Either, Jin was cuddly by nature or he really liked Kazuya, the younger one decided; otherwise he would not have come that close in his sleep, would not have curled up like that at Kazuya’s side, holding him so tightly.

He then caught a glimpse at Jin’s alarm clock next to the bed and automatically sat up quickly, making a surprised noise.

Jin fell to his back and woke up, putting his head to the cushion and groaning slightly.

“It’s already after ten; we’re way too late for school.”

“In that case you better come back here and sleep on.”

Kazuya frowned. “Wake up, Jin.”

“I am awake, Kazuya”, he answered and opened an eye, stretching out his arm to imply that Kazuya should lay back next to him. “We’re too late, however, so don’t stress over it.”

Kazuya remained sitting, looking down at Jin. “But if we hurried, we’d be still in time for third lesson.”

“That’s maths in my case, so… no, thanks.” Jin closed his eyes again.

Kazuya couldn’t help but smile over that. He reached out his hand and poked Jin’s cheek. “Get up, Jin.”

“No way.”

Putting more pressure to it, he poked Jin’s face harder, laughing slightly. It changed into a yelping sound, though, when Jin suddenly gripped his wrist and pressed him down to the bed, rolling himself on top of Kazuya.

“Jin”, he whined and used his free hand to press it against Jin’s side. The older one just took grip of that hand, too and pressed it down, as well, then he moved his head, so that he could bury his face at Kazuya’s neck.

“Really, Jin, this is…” Kazuya stopped when he noticed Jin kissing the skin he could reach with his lips. He licked it, and as Kazuya felt him slightly sucking the spot beneath his jaw, the younger boy’s lips parted slightly, without releasing any sound.

Jin didn’t stop with that, he kept paying all of his attention to that task and Kazuya closed his eyes after a while, enjoying the sweet torture.

“Don’t you dare falling asleep on top of me”, he threatened Jin then, as he noticed his moves becoming lagged.

“Too late”, Jin murmured against his ear and nibbled the lobe, sending a shiver through Kazuya.

He kept quiet, and waited, until Jin had stopped, then Kazuya freed his arms from his grip and he knew he could have rolled Jin easily off of him, but instead he lifted his hands and tangled his fingers into Jin’s hair. He caressed it for a while, before he ran one hand down his back.

It was amazing, he thought, how something like that could feel so natural.

They had kissed for the first time just that very night, and yet, they shared a bed, as if they always had.

Kazuya felt his heart beat speeding up at the thought.

It probably just was something between them that had clicked into the right place, as if both of them had found another piece that fitted the gaps in them.

Jin sighed in his sleep and nuzzled his nose closer to Kazuya’s skin, making the younger one giggle slightly from the ticklish feeling.

He enjoyed this, and Kazuya would have never thought, he would ever enjoy something like that, at all.

But lying like this, holding Jin close and feeling his steady breath at his skin was pretty reassuring and somehow just calming.

It was a little sad he had found it at a time like that. It didn’t fit at all; it was the worst timing Kazuya had ever had in anything.

Alone the fact that Jin had kissed him, made Kazuya believe that he had pretty good chances that Jin wouldn’t break up on Sunday, that probably Sunday evening they would share a pretty good time together and then they would go back to school on Monday, and everyone would accept that Jin had found the one, after all, and all the times, in which he would date another girl every week, were finally over.

Thinking about, how that was strange even just in his imagination, Kazuya fell back asleep and automatically nuzzled his cheek against Jin’s hair, while his hands were firmly holding his back.

When he woke up for the second time, he was alone, curled up beneath the blankets, blinking the sleep away.

The sun was already standing quite low and Kazuya saw it was almost three in the afternoon.

How could he have slept that long?

He sat up and stretched and then saw the door opening, as Jin came in.

“Ah, you’re finally awake?”

Kazuya tilted his head.

“I’ve been strolling in and out this room for a million times already”, Jin explained. “But you apparently sleep like a stone.”

“You could just have woken me up.”

Jin grinned and ruffled his hair. “You seemed to need it, so I let you.”

Kazuya smiled, but then his eyes got huge and he gasped. “Damn, I didn’t tell my parents.”

Jin blinked at him. “What?”

“I didn’t come home tonight, they must be worried.” He jumped out of bed and searched for his mobile, but then remembered that he hadn’t brought it, of course. He had left in just the clothes he had worn yesterday night. “I need to call them.”

“You’re usually home at about five, right?” Jin led him out of the room. “So, just go home normally later and tell them you slept here and we went to school from here together.”

“They most likely know already I haven’t been at school, because all my things are still home and my mom surely called in to find out where I am.”

“So, you want to leave already?”

Kazuya laughed slightly. “They’re surely already searching for me.”

Jin didn’t quite seem to understand, but he nodded, however.

“I need to change”, the smaller boy said pointing at the clothes from Jin he wore.

“I’ll get you your clothes.” Jin turned and walked off, leaving Kazuya in the corridor. He shuffled his naked feet and touched his hair, noticing it was all messy and tousled.

What would he tell his parents where he had been all night?

He couldn’t possibly tell them he had spent it in another boy’s bed. And he would have to make up an explanation as to why he hadn’t gone to school.

Palming his face, Kazuya sighed and ruffled his hair even more in frustration.

As Jin came back, he tried to bring his hair back into a somewhat acceptable looking form, but the older one just smirked at him.

“It’s no use. The rain and the sleep have totally messed it up.”

Pouting, Kazuya put his hands down and took his clothes from Jin. “Thanks.”

“You can use the bathroom over there”, Jin said and pointed to a door. “I’ll be downstairs.”

Nodding, Kazuya made his way to the bathroom.

As he came back down, his hair didn’t look much better, but he felt better after washing his face. He had spotted the red mark at his neck, though.

It made him feel much better to see the one at Jin’s neck, too. So, they would both have to do some coverage work the next days.

“Jin?” he asked, as he approached him in the kitchen. The older one was staring out of the window, a cup in his hand, leaning against the worktop.

“There’s something to eat; you know, just instant meals in this house, but…” he shrugged his shoulders. “If you want.”

Kazuya shook his head. Then he took the last few steps and put his hands to either side of Jin to the work top.

“Thanks”, he said then and brushed his lips against Jin’s.

The older on slung his free arm around Kazuya’s waist and pulled him closer, took more of his lips than the gentle brush Kazuya had given.

“When’s your mom coming back?” Kazuya put his forehead to Jin’s shoulder, but didn’t dare cuddling up to him. He feared he wouldn’t let go too soon again.

“Wednesday, I think.” Jin took another sip of the tea.

“You can come over tonight and sleep at our place.”

The offer stood like that for a few moments, then Jin tilted his head forwards and pressed his lips to Kazuya’s hair.

“It’s okay; I guess I can need some time to myself.”

Kazuya nodded slowly and drew back then. “I’ll see you tomorrow then?”

Jin nodded and took Kazuya’s hand, as he led him to the door.

“It’ll be our last full day tomorrow”, the younger one said and gave Jin one of his cheeky smiles. “How about a real date?”

Jin laughed, didn’t comment on the statement of the last full day. “Sure, that’s something I can manage.”

Kazuya blinked. “So, we’ll go?”

“Sure, wherever you want.”

Tilting his head, he opened the door and smiled again. “That’s something you always tell them.”

Jin knew that was true, so as Kazuya wanted to turn away and leave, he spun him around at his wrist, looking at him with serious eyes.

“With you, I really mean it.”

Kazuya nodded, swallowed thickly, because he knew Jin was serious about it. “I know”, he said and leaned in again to kiss Jin once more. His lips were gentle and soft, and the kiss reassuring, delivering a feeling of calmness rather than any passion.

“That’s why I spent the night here, after all.”

Jin stood where he was, as Kazuya walked away and pressed his lips together, catching Kazuya’s taste on them. Then he closed the door and leaned against it.

That was the problem, he thought and closed his eyes, still feeling Kazuya’s lips against his, his scent surrounding him, his hands holding Jin.

He was in love, so deep and completely head over heels that this time he honestly meant all those verbiage.

That this time, he wouldn’t be able to let go, at all.
