Comfortable

He felt as if he’d been waiting for hours by now.

He knew, since he had just gotten here about ten minutes ago, that it wasn’t like that at all, but still.

Tegoshi hated to wait; but Masuda always made him.

The older one hadn’t been home when Tegoshi had arrived. Actually, Tegoshi had thought he was late and Masuda would already wait for him. But now he was the one sitting in Masuda’s living room, waiting impatiently.

He remained lying on the sofa, when he heard the front door closing. He felt sleepy and not like getting up at all; Masuda would have to put some effort into making him get up.

But Masuda didn’t come to see him at all. Tegoshi heard another door closing; the bathroom door probably. It opened up after a moment again and Tegoshi stretched, leaving his arms over his head, the motion revealing a glimpse at his stomach when the fabric of his shirt moved.

But Masuda didn’t appear to take advantage of it.

Tegoshi looked at the door, waited.

The corridor was dark again. There was no sound at all and he frowned; wondering what Masuda was doing to neglect Tegoshi like that.

Sighing, he gave in and got up from the sofa, leaving the living room.

He straight went to Masuda’s bed room and as he opened the door, Masuda had just lifted the blankets of his bed and turned his head, jumping in surprise.

Tegoshi leaned against the door frame. “That’s really not nice.”

Masuda pressed a hand to his heart. “What are you doing here?”

The pout grew. “You’re not serious, are you?”

Confused, the older one dropped the blanket back to the bed, left his hand over his bare chest; somehow as if he wanted to hide it. “Have you been here all the time?”

Tegoshi gave him a shocked look now. “I came here about fifteen minutes ago.” He studied Masuda’s appearance; noticed he wasn’t wearing anything but shorts. “You forgot about me”, he added then with a disappointed look.

“I…” Masuda wanted to say something, but then remembered. “It’s Friday.”

Tegoshi remained in the door frame. “You didn’t even notice my shoes at the entrance? And you would have just gone to bed now, without even thinking of me.”

“Yuya”, Masuda said with a tired sigh. He made a step towards Tegoshi, but then stopped. He turned to get a shirt and pull it over; but when he opened the dresser, he felt arms coming around his waist, fingers gently caressing his skin over his stomach.

“Don’t put anything on”, Tegoshi said against his back.

“But…”

“Massu.” His voice was insisting; demanding.

Masuda turned in his embrace, pulled Tegoshi to his chest. “I’m sorry I forgot about this.” His hands came to Tegoshi’s hips, gently running over them, before he slid them beneath the fabric of the light shirt.

Tegoshi raised his chin, nipped at Masuda’s. “You know, I’ve been lying there on your couch, waiting for you to come and pick me up and carry me to your bed.” He raised his look from Masuda’s lips to those brown, dark eyes, as he leaned in closer and kissed Masuda. “But you decided to go to bed all alone. So, I think I’d better leave again.”

Masuda tightened his grip around Tegoshi’s waist and laughed into their kiss. “Or you could just let me make up for it.”

The younger one didn’t make any attempt to pull away. He kissed Masuda back, laughed at his lips, as the other one lifted him up, before he gently dropped Tegoshi to the bed.

Masuda felt Tegoshi staring at him; not at his face or his eyes, but at his shoulders, his neck, his chest; saw those eyes following the fingertip Tegoshi traced downwards over Masuda’s chest and stomach.

He blushed and pulled away. “What’s wrong?”

Tegoshi raised his look to Masuda’s face, saw the distress and discomfort. He sat up and took Masuda’s hands, since he new the older one was about to try covering himself again from his lover’s look.

“Massu?” Tegoshi leaned in and placed a kiss to Masuda’s collar bone. “Are you feeling comfortable around me?”

The tension in Masuda loosened up and he nodded, placing a kiss to Tegoshi’s hair. “Of course.”

Tegoshi titled his head back, smiled at Masuda, as their lips met again. “Why am I still dressed then?”

Masuda laughed into their kiss and pressed Tegoshi back to the pillows. “I’d better change that.”
