i can picture them like this. although not sure whether they are like this in real life, but with limited knowledge after being kat-tun fans for nearly 2yrs.

kazuya with high self restraint once he made-up his mind. i once read somewhere that kazuya is so good at masking what he feels inside that people don't really know him. but now in 2009, the real him reeeaaalllyy slowly showing.

and jin on the other hand is not so good at not showing what he really feels. he is not as good as kazuya at pretending. people can see what he really feels especially during live concert.

and from my point of view, you capture that behaviour really well in this chapter. so good that i nearly failed to differentiate between real life and fanfic. :-)).

Well, in that case you know them much better than I do. Because I have just been a fan for well, somewhat more than a year. But not two years yet ^.~

However, I read that too, but I always feel like Kazuya is a bit more honest about his personality and less hidden behind a mask then Jin. But, I also think that Jin only opens up to the ones really close to him. Who would be Kazuya in this fanfiction. So, I wanted him to not act anything and just be the way he truely is.
Additional to that... drunkards are just honest ;)

I always feel that Jin acts a bit too indifferent and cool, but well that's why I let him lose that mask in this *lol*
On the other side, Kazuya is a bit more cautious of showing his mind and feelings, just as you described it.
