Dragon*Con and New Projects
Well...Dragon*Con is over. Been over for a couple weeks now, and it was a hectic but fun trip! I feel like I waited for so long for it, and then it was over in the blink of an eye. There were so many awesome, fun costumes, and I met some great people!
Right, now on to new projects. I have only 2 planned. *Maybe* 3 if I finish the first two on my list. I will be attempting Miranda from Mass Effect 2 and Jill in her Battlesuit from Resident Evil 5. They are both complicated, and made of stretch material, which I have only worked with a little in the past. Also, I am trying to make myself my own PipBoy 3000 (from Fallout 3) because I've unfortunately become addicted to that game over the last few weeks. I'm going to use a tutorial I found using craft foam, and the screen will be my iPod touch. I'm pretty excited to start this little project, I think it will be fun! I enjoy making props more than sewing, hahaha. So if I can finish Jill and Miranda, I will probably just go make myself a vault suit also. :) Should be a fun, and busy year!
