best show in a LONG while
So, last night, we went down to The Boardwalk to see Supermodel Suicide, Shortie, Simplistic, Key To Arson and Quitter. And, wow, that was a great show to come back to!
Had never seen Supermodel Suicide before, they were different, it was a cool different, though. Not something I could ever really get into, but it was good to see.
Shortie did SO good! WOW, I mean I have seen them a million times, and last night they just did so freaking awesome! Sucks for everyone that missed it! Of course, Kyle was wearing the same shirt he wears every single time I see him, hah. . But anyways, yeah there were like three photographers or news mags there covering them, it was awesome. I'm so glad that they played only new songs. Usually I go to one of their shows just wanting to hear 5 Seconds, but this time I was hoping they didn't play it, because all of their new songs are SO good!
Simplistic, what can I say? Yeah, I still love them, but it's just not the same. I'm so mad that they changed so many songs, well, almost EVERY song. Not the music or anything, just the lyrics, which is horrible. Mike got the worst of them. If you're going to help out a band, you can't go around changing their lyrics, they wrote them for a reason, and if you change them, they don't mean the same thing to the band anymore. I especially hate the new Karma Killer and High. They were so great before, why change a great thing?
We left after Simplistic, I've seen Key To Arson a few too many times, and I didn't want to give Clint the satisfaction of us actually staying to watch them. And as for Quitter, we would've had to leave by them anyways because of the whole curfew thing. Oh well. Shortie was worth the entire night!
