lol. i'm such a dork. and a hypocrite. bc in total contradiction to everything i just wrote, i went out and spent 200 dollars on tennis and basketball shoes.
hmm. and the basketball shoes are ugly as hell, of course, seeing as they're guys shoes (i wish they sold my size in women's here...i hate feeling like bigfoot), but they're SO comfortable. they have like half an inch of this awesome springy-foam stuff in the heel and the instep, so it's like running on a mattress. seriously. ^^ the tennis shoes are nice too...hopefully they'll help in my lessons, the last time i went i was sliding all over the court cuz my old shoes had no traction...i hate clay...argh, and i'm so sore from that last lesson too, it was like an hour of pure forehand....haha, i shouldn't be complaining though, at least it's giving me something to do =) i'm so happy cuz of these shoes though....wow. i love shopping =)
