Hope is sprouting in my life again... I accepted the job back at DYL Group and put in my two weeks as of Friday. I still haven't told many people at work, those that matter know. Could probably live without any scrutiny in the final 8 7 days. It will probably suit me better, I had few problems with the place when I worked as a temp. there, and those problems have been cleared up and tweaked. The HR Manager who came back to me about the job seems pretty stoked that I'll be back there, it's a good feeling. It won't be a big step up in pay, but it will overall be a more balanced, more wholesome situation.
Halloween was fun, for what we made of it. Going out and trying to make your good time can be tricky the older you get... I'd hate to think I'm getting too old for it or jaded, been intimidated by the hunt for parking and the cost of food and drinks. It was worth it, though, and I'm glad I got to spend it with people I love and care about. My mom did a stellar job on the costume, couldn't have been happier with it. =)
Time to go celebrate Erik's birthday with Eddy, gotta run. More next time, hopefully.
