Travel question:
My mom is coming here at the end of March to visit, and we want to go to Seattle for a couple of days. Since moving to the Pacific Northwest I've been to Seattle a total of one time, so I really don't know the city well at all.
She's trying to book a hotel. What is a good neighborhood to stay in?
Are there any sights/places that aren't too touristy, that are worth checking out? We like cool clothing stores, or weird museums, or hole-in-the-wall but really good restaurants.
Any advice would be super.
