Fetch

For those of you not in the know, my two cats fetch. Yes they fetch. Like a dog but better and worse. Oscar, our black and white cat talks to us when he has brought us something. So yeah 2 am -5 am he is fetching and talking at me. When he does this I kick him out of the bedroom and close the door. Oh I forgot to mention if I ignore him, he brings something else to us. So in the morning if he is quiet I wake up to pot holders and random toys at the door of the bedroom.

I bought this chirpy bird thing big mistake. He loves it. I do too. But dang you can hear him through out the house playing with it.

When my black cat Myrrh was fetching on a regular basis and I was living in Santa Cruz I dreaded waking up to a dead mouse by my pillow. Thankfully when he did catch mice he didn't bring it to me while I slept. That cat is smart. Oscar... not so much. I would wake up to folded socks and random toys next to my pillow. I guess I used to throw them in my sleep. Again, smart cat.

I am curious as to what Oscar would do if he ever found a mouse. Thankfully I live in a very sealed house and have no rodent worries aside from the garage. Speaking of which, I need to buy that door base strip for the main big door and some cement to patch the notch in the foundation they found to come through.

I need to get some pictures of my cats uploaded. All I have is this one of the dog. He fetches but for about 3 minutes, gets tired and lies down. I love my fluff ball. He is so lazy!

Oh the reason for this post? Oscar is fetching. Maybe if I can wear him out today, he will sleep the night.
