it is normal not to be happy all the time. some would contend that if you are happy all the time then you might be either psychologically protecting yourself from the not so good reality or there could be something physically wrong with you. For example, some tumors cause an increase in serotonin levels that trick the body into believing that everything is tiptop. but may be there are more reasons and explanations...may be the reasons for such attitudes are more superficial and due to fair personal qualities such as simplicity and naivete. may be it is normal, and moreover and more importantly, i believe most of us would concur that such stance is beneficial for communal purposes.
i know only a couple of people who might qualify to be exuberantly and excessively happy about some random very common place events, and it is cool from time to time to listen to their life stories and start feeling better.
it is like a reminder that it is possible to be happy with a "malenkii" pegeot and a little condominium, and to be not so young anymore; and i guess, it is possible to find happiness in a plate of cheese and berries, and i guess it is not as impossible as it might seem to me right now. people do it.
Many times I am exacerbated by petty everyday problems while these happy people who from the first sight seem to have way less things than I do are elated about their life conditions and "environs". i still have to learn a lot of things. but meanwhile it is good to know that there exist these aberrant individuals who leave a glimmer of hope to many of us who still find such permanent states of mind extraneous and out of reach.
