christmas...over.....already?
it is insane that we had a christmas without any snow!!!!! grr i wanted just a few snowflakes! ah well.
christmas eve was very long n hectic, even more because i was good n sick. haha nothing like handling peoples groceries while coughing all day! o well thats what those last minute shoppers get! haha. lets not even talk about how insane big y was, n ummmm self checks r not meant to be used by speedy cashiers plus credit/debit cards. this combo=freezing during every single order. hahah im so glad thats over! christmas eve nite had dinner at grampas house then dessert over at ambers, good times. of course the sudafed wore of while i was out so when i got home i was freezing with a 102 fever, supeeeeer.
christmas mornin i felt a lot better but still sick, so more meds! hahah. we had a nice relaxing day, n i got some really nice things from the good ol family. talked to dan for a bit since i wasnt able to talk to him when he called the nite before. and then my christmas was made with a nice chat with my favorite georgian mom n her son. :) i think i can make it through break after that phone call. love love love them. haha im curious to c how much the call cost cuz i called from my house phone haha o well they r family n id much rather pay to talk to them than some other relatives who call just to call. i am so happy cuz i got the broadway wedding singer soundtrack from mick, and this is of course like, the best bway show ever n its what george,sarah,n i saw from the 5th row! i also got click, which we saw n of course think is amazing movie haha.
with the holidays winding down, i think its time to list all my baked goods (of which big y ate plenty haha)-
-choco p.b. balls (apparently the favorite)
-mint choco balls (2 batches= 56 cookies)
-triple choco cherry cookies
-peppermint mini tarts
-rice krispy treats
-pb cup tarts
-raspberry cookies
-2 batches toffee fudge
-3 batches biscotti (thats alot o biscotti hahaha)
-apple cranberry pistachio bread
i think all i have left to make is a cheesecake for new years, greek cookies, n the new yrs bread.
what a holiday season, i wish we werent in school right up until christmas though! time for sleep then fun with the sista tomorrow!
