Loudly I'll sing about flowers in spring

Okay, I admit it, I'm really nervous about Rent. I'm probably going to keep it minimalist (which I'm told is totally okay) in terms of production, I really want the performances to carry it, which I guess is how it should be, right? So auditions will be after Thanksgiving, a little before Winter Break, and that way folks can go home and sort of work through their parts and come back after the New Year fresh and ready for rehearsal. And that's not to mention the Monkeys Xanadu sequence up next, plus my work on The Oresteia provided I get any of the roles.

So far the only person I have confirmed for Thanksgiving is Will, but Ron and Tru? You guys are totally invited. (Tru, I kind of want to introduce you to Theo, and I swear I'm not matchmaking...well okay, maybe a little bit.) As I've mentioned before, my family is loud and nosy, but very welcoming. I promise you will not starve, though the food you eat will undoubtedly be polysyballic and difficult to pronounce. We do have a turkey, but that's just one portion of a pretty huge banquet of of food. There will be church on Sunday which is never expected of guests, I imagine that after we come home and gorge ourselves on lunch, we can head back to Meridian. Theo is picking is up and taking us back in Jason's catering van. If anyone else is interested, it's as many people as we can cram along with our luggage!

Will, if you haven't realized it: I'll be your woobie any time you like.

And now, the mid-term report!
