Movin' On Up
Moving up and out! I have an apartment as of Friday/Saturday and I have been sort of moving in as of yesterday! It's small, even for a one-bedroom, but Juli and I don't need anything huge. Everything is on the first floor - kitchen with stove and fridge - and the bedroom is up the stairs. So it's like a loft situation. The people who were there before me left a bunch of stuff there: lots of kitchen stuff (a lot of which I pitched yesterday because it was nasty and/or plastic), a bed with brand new mattresses, an armoire, and a dresser. The armoire and dresser aren't in great shape, but Alana and I are going to sand them down and paint or restain them which will be lots of fun.
Yesterday I focused on moving my kitchen stuff over and went through all the stuff that was left there. Today, Alana and I are moving the rest of my stuff (minus the computer for right now, I think, since I don't have internet) this afternoon. Then we're going to go buy new sheets and such things.
Gotta go to class, but I'll post some pictures and stuff later.
