By the way, I've been sucked into "The Tudors".

And I have to say, I'm loving Jonathan Rhys Meyers and James Frain.

Of course, I loved Meyers in Bend It Like Beckham, and Frain in Where the Heart Is.

Both are awesome.

Queen Anne's not doing so hot though. ;)

(No, you have no idea who I am. I got bored and randomly decided to surf LJ and came across yours through a mutual interest in 'music'. What attracted me most was your purple default icon and the 'Diana/Artemis' reference.)

The Tudors is AWESOME...I am waiting with bated breath for season 2 to hit DVD for purchasable awesomeness. I am also hoping a season 3 is in the works, as Henry VIII has four more wives to go through, nevermind if they continue onto his offspring's battles and ascentions to the English throne.

As for being sick as a teacher - I don't know if they have this product where you are (I was trying to to be stalkerish), but I've been teaching for three years and Airborne is my health savior. I didn't take it at all last year and was sick constantly...colds and sinus infections galore. This year, I've remembered it nearly every morning and I haven't had so much as a cold or the sniffles.

Subs....also, don't know if this is an option where you are, but at my school, we can request our subs. If there's someone you find works really well in your subject area and follows your lesson plans, see if you can request them. (I teach band, and missed a band day near the concert last spring. The LPs were pretty much 'let them practice their parts as the concert is next week', and I found the sub had written a note on the plans when I got back that 'it got really noisy in here with everyone practicing, so I put in a movie instead'. I wanted to kick her. But, I also don't throw any sub jobs her way anymore.

Oh neat! Well, your not the first person to find me randomly through LJ, so that's cool.

I think there are a bunch of seasons planned, aren't there? It's specifically the life of Henry they're following, so it should go until he dies...although they'll have to find a way to make Myers look older as they go. Henry lived a while for that time.

I might try that Airborne thing (although I've never heard of it) or ColdFX or something similar. Anything to boost my immune system.

As for subs...well...I hope to become a teacher first! I'm just working out teachers college right now. Although, I've basically acted as a sub a few times now for my practicum teachers.

It's nice to meet you! (And the purple icon is a drawing I did when I was 15 of an orchid, scanned, and then coloured purple in Photoshop)

And I LOVE Greek Mythology...any mythology really, but Greek is really my "thing".
