Reaction: Wal-Mart Trampling
Okay, so every time I read the news story about the Wal-Mart trampling, it makes me sick.
The trampling in itself was pretty unbelievable....
The fact that people just rushed over this guy after he was down...and I kind of understand that because chances are if they had stopped (given the way the crowd was behaving), they would have been trampled too - this is evidenced by the fact that other Wal-Mart employees who tried to help their coworker were hurt as well.
What absolutely GALLS me, though, is that when police asked shoppers to leave because of the death, they WHINED ABOUT HAVING LINED UP FOR THE BARGAINS.
WTF IS THAT???? I cannot believe how unbelievably heartless and and cold those people are. "No, Mr. Policeman. I don't care that a man died, I have to get my cheap TV."
I would never have believed the reaches of human greed could go so far.
