(no subject)
So I haven't written in awhile, turns out that I graduated from Villanova. I'm officially a college graduate and now I'm living in Hawaii. I moved here on the 27th, it's been a little tougher than I thought it would be but I had applied to a couple jobs before I moved here and I got a job a couple of days after getting here and I've been working there for about two and a half weeks now. I'm working at the West Hawaii Community Health Center (WHCHC) as the front office help but mostly as a translator. There is a rapidly rising Hispanic population here in Kona and there is no one in the clinic that can help them when they can't understand English so it is my job to go through all the paperwork with the patients, explain what it all means, see if they have health insurance and if they don't, help them apply for insurance and after all that, I go into the room with the patient and the doctor(s) and translate for both so they get the care they need. My hours are super long but I'm excited for my first paycheck.
I'm living with Jeff (my boyfriend), it's so weird to actually be together. I mean, it's great! but it's just strange to not have to stay up until 2-3am to talk to him. I'm also living with his brother and two other boys, I'm not a fan of the two other boys cause they're slobs and have drunk girlfriends that are always around but they're out of there in August so I'll just deal til then. Living with boys is pretty ridiculous, Jeff and Trev aren't bad, they're actually fun to live with but the other boys are slobs, they never clean up after themselves, they eat our food and they bring trashy girls around. August is just 6 or so months away though ....
