Rough Drabbling (Pirates of the Caribbean/Buffy the Vampire Slayer Crossover)

So I'm just going to write.

Rough drafts following, snippets of things that may come, Pirates, Pirates, PIRATES...crossover. Buffy. I love Buffy. 'Nuff said.

I love crossovers. I love things that hint at strong connections between crossovers characters especially when the BtVS character is Buffy - regardless of the nature of the connection, though hopefully positive in some way. And I've had a soft spot for Buffy/Norrington since I found a fic of that pairing last year. (Not that I actually know if you're actually intending to go there.)

I really enjoyed these - perhaps not the Riley one so much - but the rest are very good and very strong and I do hope you flesh them out... or at least write more drabbles. *G*

...You found a Buffy/Norrington last year? (Are you able to direct me to it, will you please if you can? *puppy-dog eyes*)

I love crossovers too--though I haven't writtened a lot yet--think they really do have a lot of potential. (And when I think about it, an answer to Mary-Sue, Gary-Stu, even just general OC if you're looking real hard for a lover for a character, but in their 'verse there's no one--always figured just look in a different fandom for their ideal match. XP)

I do want to flesh these out later--I've had an idea of a long-term fic of these things...it's just difficult, and it'll probably take a while. (But maybe continue with drabble-form, who knows?)

Thank you so much for the comments, talk more? (I really do want to know about the Buffy/Norrington you found, and just some more of your Buffy, crossover, Pirates/Norrington opinions...and sorry if it took me a while to respond, just returned to lj. ^^;)

Also? I completely agree on crossover pairings. Even if the matches aren't ones others would necessarily find ideal, my current favourite Buffy pairings are definitely crossovers. *g*

Other than that ... yeah! Btvs/Potc crossover. I love how Dawn has a crush on him (who wouldn't, in my opinion). I love the relatedness, but unrelatedness of the drabbles. And I love how Norrington is scared of planes and cars! OH, oh, also love the name Spike assigns Norrington at the hospital - hehe. Could it possible to collide another fandom in here!? Oh, well. Good job; well-written!

Ah, thanks, didn't catch it before. ^_^ (That's what I get for writing at manic speed, but it DID get some creative juices flowing, as I hoped, or at least calm me down a bit.)

Relatedness and unrelatedness...'cause it's rough, that's why it's there, but on the other hand, I was thinking of it as a nifty style for the moment.

Honestly, that's one of my favorite bits too, making Norrington frightened by today's cars and planes. (It's just...I keeping getting these cute images. ^^;)

*smirk* So glad someone caught that--yes, Spike randomly giving the doctors the name "Steve" is a direct reference to Coupling. (But wait...are you saying just completely cross it over? ^^; Maybe another time, another concept. Of course, this makes me think of a BtVS "Tabula Rasa" redux w/ mind-wiped Norrington acting suspiciously likes..."Steve...." XP)
