This is a fascinating chapter! I love the idea of the Jokester and Owlman with Harvey and Rachel.

And I loved it when the Jokester flung himself out the window after Harvey. He doesn’t have Batman’s wings to help him fly but that didn’t stop him for a second.

Such a great start. Looking forward to seeing more, if you write any.

I kinda always feel even more excited when Jokester does a good deed, since he IS an alternate version of the Joker. Oh, I love how you point out that he doesn't have the same wing tech as Batman--that's actually something I want to explore in a way, 'cause in my head Jokester doesn't have the same level of resources or funds like Batman, but still works anyway. Pretty much parallel to Joker's line in TDK about how cheap gunpowder and gasoline are, etc.

Also, I've read some of your fic! I still need to read that epic long mirrorverse fic you wrote--AWESOME TO HAVE SUCH A BIG FIC SERIES IN MIRRORVERSE--and need to comment on your missing scene fic with Brian/FakeBatman, that was great. I love gen in any fandom, and that last look into Joker's head via Brian was incredible.

Oooh, I love this! :D I love how closely it mirrors the movie - same events, different motivations, different outcomes, different people on each side. Love the line: "Well, that answers my question. Thank you, the Universe." - love that the Jokester even makes jokes inside his head, when there's no-one to hear them - hee!

Can't wait for more!

All the credit for the "thank you the Universe" line really goes to Sokka from Avatar: The Last Airbender animated series. (I kinda think Jokester and Sokka's sense of humor can be really similar sometimes.)

Jokester just can't turn off the snark.

I'm glad you though it closely mirrored the movie, that was part of the point. :)

Ah ha, you are so right about their sense of humor being similar! :D Never thought of that before - goddamn, now i want a crossover fic of them snarking together...

I just kinda realized it when I felt you could give some of Sokka's lines to Jokester and it would still sound in-character.

OHMAN, I've been thinking about this lengthy fusion crossover between AtLA and Mirrorverse-Batman since The Dark Knight came out and the AtLA series ended. Nothing's been posted, but I'm hoping to post something of it soon, at least a drabble.
