Terriermon won't call Impmon a traitor, 'cause he doesn't believe he ever really welcomed him as a friend. There were times when the grumpy digimon had gotten close though, like when he played in the water with them before the chicken Deva interrupted. Now, he wonders if anything would've changed if that Deva hadn't interrupted and they got to all play together the rest of the day, and what if that other Deva hadn't almost killed the little twerp, what if they had found him soon after, would they have welcomed him then? Would Impmon have been easier to welcome then? 'Cause Terriormon is sorta aware of some things about himself: he always felt he was practical, and knows he's impatient, and it always seemed like a waste of time to him, to try liking someone who's always gripin' and so angry at your best friend just because he happens to be human, and for no good reason at all that was clear.
Now, that sorta sounds like thinking Impmon wasn't worth the effort, and Terriermon will admit that was the case, he doesn't want to lie. And he wonders if Impmon ever thought that too, and for a brief second he feels a little bad for the guy. But then his ear flickers in and out of existence again and he remembers him kicking and kicking Renamon who did welcome him, and that arm going straight through Leomon and happy, happy Jeri's terrified, terrified screams, and Guilmon drooling acid, and those guns pointed at Suzie and Henry and--
--and--
And he'll call Impmon a murderous bastard, and why should he be spared, when he did more than any of their other enemies ever did?
