Just...just saw the last FMA episode, and it was, ah, it was-- *cuts off and cries*
God, that was brilliant.
LOVED seeing Wrath alive, sporting auto-mail, wandering...o.k., that last bit reminds me of Rurouni Kenshin, in which 2 characters, Himura Kenshin a.k.a. Hitokiri Battosai and Sojiro Seta a.k.a. Tenken, both assasins, but not contemporaries--they both go wandering around too. ^_^ (And I think Yukishiro Enishi goes off wandering int the end as well.)
...Surprised that my supposedly crack theory worked out; I had wondered if Al was to be restored, he'd be given the body that was taken--the 10-year-old child.
Also enjoyed the big family of the Rockbells and Rose and Al and the Curtis' and their friend and for a while even Wrath--Schieszka's probably extended family, something like that. Ah, I loved Schiezka's letter, the Roy/Riza love...the whole damn epilogue, loved it all: happenings of the Amestris government, the Ishbalans, back in Rush Valley with Paninya, crazy-sad-disturbing of Tucker and Nina in that basement, even the Tringham brothers--and again, hobo!Wrath. ;)
Although small, credits in the latter half combined with the epilogue added a sense of finality, it was a good touch. Ed and Al speeches good--mostly favored Al's though. In the first, non-epilogue half--shiver at Pride murdering that poor boy, and...ah, the whole conflict between Roy and him t'was excellent. Archer, may he rest in peace. (Although rather cool, looking at it a little more realistically I think, very cruel of military to keep him on like that just as a weapon--ever hear of mercy killings?)
...WRATH!
...That is all.
PEACE OUT FMA!
