A/N: It has been so long.... I was kinda inspired by the doomsday, woohoo! XD And also, i was thinking, what would it be if I had only one  more day left? what would i do? Never the less, this is extremely cliche! >.< and kinda lame, but i enjoyed  writing it! ^^

6:45am
Jonghyun woke up from a phone call. Who could be calling me this early in the morning? He sleepily rolled out of bed and with his eyes half shut tried to find his blackberry. Unhappy grunts were coming from under Minho’s blanket which sort of distracted Jonghyun on his quest.
After a few moments he finally found his phone.
“What do you want?” He growled lowly, expressing his discontent!
“WOOHOO! YEAH BABY! WE’RE STILL ALIVE!” Kibum’s loud voice travelled through the phone into Jonghyun’s ear nearly breaking his eardrum. He was very annoyed. Weekend was almost over and he wanted to sleep just a little longer, but the younger one won’t let him, and it didn’t matter why, he’s gonna pay anyway when he gets back.
“I’m still sleeping… and it’s… uhmm… there’s still like 5 more minutes…” Jonghyun blurted out.
“Oh, c’mon! If anything was about to happen I don’t think it would be on schedule!” He laughed making Jonghyun more annoyed with the useless conversation.
“Ugh… Is there anything else you wanted to tell me or can I go back to sleep?”
“I’m in the train now, got on a while ago but I can’t really sleep like this so, figured I’d call you. Be sure to pick me up at the station!”
“Why?!” Jonghyun whined. It wasn’t already enough that Kibum had woken him up this early, he wanted to be picked up! That would require Jonghyun getting up now and getting dressed and driving to the station. No, that’s too much trouble. “You’re not a baby! You can make it to dorm safely without being escorted! And I wanna sleep! Bye!”
“NO!” Kibum shouted in the phone so loud Jonghyun had to remove it from his ear a couple of inches. “I want YOU to pick me up, please! My train comes in at 9:13, platform 7. Thank you!”
“I hate you…” Was already useless to say as Kibum had dropped the phone. Jonghyun had no choice, when diva demanded the rest obeyed.

8:37am
Jonghyun stumbled in the kitchen sleepily and saw Jinki making some breakfast. It wasn’t the safest thing to do, but with Key gone someone had to be the one making the food, and rather eat Jinki’s cooking than Taemin’s - someone might get poisoned, Minho just couldn’t cook and Jonghyun was always too busy avoiding it. Anyway, the food was yummy, the dorm wasn’t burned down and everyone still had all of their fingers.
“Good morning! What’s for breakfast today?” Jonghyun asked while planting himself by the kitchen table, in his mind boiling water for a cup of coffee, already imagining the taste.
“Potato pancakes!” Came the usual response. God, Jonghyun couldn’t wait for Key to get back from his parent’s place, eating potato pancakes every day was already getting on his nerves, and the taste seemed to get worse every day.
“We have to pick Key up at the train station at 9am.”
“I’m not driving you! Take a taxi!” Onew replied while placing a cup of hot coffee in front of Jonghyun. But, as the latter one reached for it, it started shaking.
It had been a while since the last earthquake, not that it was strange to them, neither was it a strong one. Both boys sat on the ground waiting for the shaking to end, Jonghyun looking at his cup of coffee with sad eyes as it was being spilt all over the table.

8:42am
The train stopped. ‘There’s no stop here.’ Key thought to himself. They were in a middle of a field, nothing but the grass and the skies, some trees near the horizon on the left, some cars on the afar highway on the right. But the question in his head was soon answered as he felt the ground shaking. This was the worst timing ever.

9:19am
People were screaming, running. Cars were honking at each other and dogs were barking at thin air. Chaos everywhere as everyone tried to get out of the city. Desperation painted every street corner, every shadow. No one had really believed this was coming.
As Jonghyun ran out of the building he saw masses of people moving from one side to the other, no certain direction. There was a group of people sitting in the middle of the road with song books in their hands, preaching God.
A little girl caught his attention; she was holding a puppy in her arms, sitting under a tree, trying to hide, just like everyone else.

10:08am
The rest of the band ran out of the building along with everyone else living there. They were confused. Jonghyun looked to the right and saw Taemin holding onto Minho’s arm like it was his lifeline. Then to the left where he saw Jinki looking up at the sky. Then Jonghyun looked up as well, the sky was red. It was not like a sunset painted sky, it was the red of blood and fire, the color blending together with the sun. And the immense heat.
He looked to his right again and saw that Minho and Taemin were leaving. Were they going to their families? Where they trying to find a place to hide? He screamed after them and they turned. They didn’t say anything, just showed hearts with their hands and then turned away again to leave.
“I love you too.”

12:54pm
All the people had been ordered to get out of the train; no one knew where to go though. The sky was falling apart, and the ground was caving in. And the only thought in Kibum’s mind then was Jonghyun.
He thought about the last words they had said to each other. He thought about all the things he wanted to say. About the hot morning coffee Jonghyun loved so much, and Key loved to serve it to him because he love to see the other one smile so genuinely. He thought about their last moment together. The innocent smiles and short waves as he got in the taxi, so casual. It was so casual it broke his heart, ‘cause nothing ever was more than that, no matter how much he had wanted it. Kibum was never the one to take the first step, but right now he was sorry he didn’t.
A single tear ran down his cheek as he continued to walk forward down the train tracks.

2:22pm
It had been hours of running, but he knew that the train was still far away. And even if he reached it in time would Kibum still be there?
Nevertheless, the feeling wouldn’t leave him. He knew that nothing was over yet, it was not too late. But he didn’t know how much time there was left to fix things. First of all - he had to find Kibum, and he was on the right track.

4:13pm
Kibum finally reached a station, just one of the stops on the way to Seoul. He was much closer to the city now, but surprisingly there were almost no people there. He found a spot in the shade and sat down on a bench, staring at the tracks. He was so tired. And it was so hot. If he fell asleep, would t be over then? Would he not have to suffer then? He lifted his head up and stared at the red sky. Ashes were falling down like snowflakes, painting the ground gray.
He closed his eyes hoping to travel to the magnificent dreamland, hoping to find Jonghyun on the way so they could welcome the end together.
‘Together. How I wish it would be so.’

5:29pm
Jonghyun stopped for a while. He had passed a few stations, he didn’t know how many, had not even counted them. He was tired. His feet hurt, his heart raced, and his muscles seemed paralyzed.
He sat down on the tracks and opened the water bottle he had picked up at one of the stops. He drank the last bit of it and threw the bottle aside. For a moment desperation crept up on him. Jonghyun slumped down, rested his elbows on his knees and his head in his palms. He wanted to cry, to scream, anything. But he didn’t have the strength inside him. What else was there left anyway? Was there hope for redemption? Salvation? And even if so, was it worth it without Kibum?
Jonghyun thought of the first time they met, of those awkward smiles, friendly handshakes. It was surprising how they bonded so fast, and sort of an explanation to what happened later.
It was only one moment when Jonghyun realized it. It was not a significant moment though, just another morning in the dorm when Jonghyun woke up a little earlier than usual and walking in the kitchen saw Key preparing breakfast for everyone, and singing. That song, he had heard Kibum sing it before, but just in that moment it was different. And when the younger one turned to look at him and greet him with a smile, Jonghyun almost drowned in it. The smile. His heart skipped a beat, and he held his breath for a second. Just that one second was enough for him to understand how he felt.

6:28pm
“Kibum!?” He heard a voice call his name. ‘No, it can’t be… Did I die?’
“Jonghyun?” He whispered slowly and opened his eyes to see an exhausted Jonghyun in front of him, panting heavily, resting his hands on his knees, trying not to fall down. The elder one’s dark hair was full of ashes, his clothes were soaking wet from sweat, his breath heavy, but his eyes glad.
Kibum sprung up from the bench and ran towards Jonghyun. They embraced, and the moment felt like eternity. The burning sun was not burning anymore, the ashes were not filling their lungs anymore, and the world was not ending anymore. The time had stopped, just in that moment.
“Why did you come after me? Why didn’t you go to your family?” Kibum whispered in the crook of his friend’s neck
“Because they already know that I love them, and how much. But you don’t.” Jonghyun replied pulling back from the hug a little. He landed his hands on both of Kibum’s cheeks and lifted his head up to look into the younger one’s eyes.
“Silly Dino, I know you love me!” Kibum tried to laugh, but the sound was caught up in his throat by the lump that had formed there. “It is you that doesn’t know.” He looked down for a second and then back up the elder’s eyes before closing the short distance between them and pressing his lips on the other one’s.

7:43pm
“I don’t care anymore…” Kibum exclaimed as they were lying in the grass under a tree. Jonghyun resting his back against it and Kibum’s head in his lap, he was looking up at Jonghyun, savoring the sight before him. Oh, how he wished he would remember it till the end of time.
“About the end of the world?”
“Yeah…”
“Did you ever care? You never said anything to me.”
“I did, but only because I thought that, if it came so soon, I would never be able to tell you… Though, I guess we all had our secrets, right? And mine was you!” He reached up to brush some strands away from Jonghyun’s face; they were wet and sticking to his forehead which made Jonghyun look that much desirable, regardless of the circumstances.

10:51pm
“I don’t really want this to end… This moment, I mean.” Jonghyun stroked the other’s cheek slowly, tracing his fingers along Kibum’s sharp cheek bones, his jaw, down his neck to the collarbone.
“This moment, yeah. It’s perfect. When this ends we can continue in hell, since none of this is allowed in heaven, as far as I know.” He smiled.

12:02am
Finally, after all this time they were able to touch each other. Even if it was in a time like this, they were finally one. They had waited so long.
They explored each other’s bodies both with their eyes and their hands. Memorizing every curve, every hollow, the texture and scent of their skin. The patterns of the other’s breathing, their moans, it was like music, like the best song they’ve ever sung together, expressing all the emotion, all the feeling that were bottled up inside.
‘Is it sad that it took something big like the end of the world for us to finally confess and be together? I wish we had more time…’ But then again, won’t they have eternity?

2:43am
“Whoa… you wanna go at it again? It’s still not over…” Key breathed out, he was panting heavily, trying to catch his breath again. He rolled over to the side a little, hoping that the patch of grass beside him would be a little cooler, but it wasn’t. Seemed like everything was heating up.
“It’s so hot.” Jonghyun scooted closer to Key and wrapped his arms around the younger one’s waist. He pulled him closer and kissed him. It was a truly passionate kiss. Finally they could fully show their emotions, no anxiety, no care. Even the world around them that was falling apart slowly was not a bother, if anything, it was encouragement.
“You better get used to it! I don’t think it will be any cooler in hell!”
Jonghyun didn’t reply, he just pulled Key into his arms and stared at the sky.

4:36am
The ashes had stopped falling. But the sky was still red. If one listened carefully, screams could still be heard somewhere afar. The air smelled like sulphur, the trees had lost their leaves, the grass was turning yellow. And the ground continued to shake every now and then, breaking, caving in. Any moment it could open up right under them, but it would be okay. Because they had each other, till the very last moment they would be in each other’s arms.
“Has the Earth stopped spinning? I don’t think the sun has moved an inch.”
“Could be, could be…”

5:45am
“I love you.”
“I love you too!”
