so, this is awesome, I ran out and bought them right away

in other news, I got a half-step promotion at work. I now work on the airport ops wave team, which is looking at our spend at the los angeles airport and at o'hare. It is really cool, and just as important, it is my tryout for getting promoted to a better job. I still have to be a secretary

the line up looked good. their line up is usually good. the trouble is the gobfucks of people and the heat.

although now that i'm used to texas weather, i'm sure i would have considered the 96 degree chicago heat fairly pleasant.

still can't truck with those teeming masses, tho. what's the fucking point? i'll just wait 'til they tour (or better yet, south by) and catch them in a half-full, air conditioned venue.

thats wxactly why i didnt go this year, i was about to buy tickets and i remembered how every year since intonation, it has been more crowded.

who are you wanting to see on tour in a half-empty venue?

well i mostly avoid buzz bands, so the acts i go see are playing to a less-than-capacity crowd usually, though rarely half-empty. although during south by there is so much shit going on that i can usually see everyone i want to see and get very up close and personal.
