A sharp turn around a corner and he's skidding, feet out from under him and he almost hits the pavement, but he moves rapidly and somersaults, finding long fingers wrapped firmly around his bicep at the end of his roll yanking him back to his feet. Dark eyes turn to the newcomer, and he meets green half a head above his eye level. "Oh, it's you," he says, without surprise, and then he's dragging Axel behind the corner and a pile of rubbish as the scream of something destructive falling meets his ears.
The bomb hits a kilometre away from their location, and flames leap up to shield them. He's never seen anyone with such alchemic powers as Axel has. Flames twirling from black-gloved fingers without a circle, walls of flame the redhead seems to be able to simply walk through... a world of power he can't understand.
He's fine with not understanding, though. It's saved his ass more times than he can count.
The uniformed man runs his fingers through his hair, giving a faint scowl at the state of himself. He's covered in dirt, but he really can't do anything about that right now. He gets up, dragging Axel with him, but then those circular weapons are in the cloaked man's hands again and he's dropping into that stooped fighting stance. Something --?
And then a girl -- petite, blonde, and positively smirking -- strolls around their garbage pile, electricity crackling between her fingers. If Axel's weird... this is just... beyond so.
Axel snarls, Roy stares, and Larxene just smiles before moving to drive a knife directly into the Colonel's shoulder. "I'd like to talk to you, VIII," is all she says, though.
