Good news and bad news. Let's start with the good...
I received an email notifying me of my conditional acceptance to FIEA (the condition being that I graduate this May, which I'm on track to do thus far). This was definitely news that I wanted to hear; now I just need to find a new apartment that's more convenient to downtown Orlando and a roommate who won't drive me up the wall.
Now, the bad news: after four days of abdominal pain, I went to the UCF Health Center today, where the doctor gave me some pills to take over the weekend and told me to not do anything too physically strenuous. Unfortunately, that means I had to turn back the soccer matches I was assigned for this Sunday, one of which was an assessment match. The doctor thinks the pain is being caused by stomach acid, which may be due to the stress I've been under lately. Also, according to the scale at the center, which I'm not entirely convinced is accurate, I've lost 10 - 12 lbs since the beginning of the semester. Argh.
