Thanksgiving break was pretty good. I drove home Wednesday afternoon and went out for sushi with Robert that evening. It was pretty good, although the service was a bit lacking. Thanksgiving day was great, of course. The food was excellent and plentiful, and the company was also good.
I spent the rest of the weekend working the Puma Challenge. It was a pretty good tournament overall. Surprisingly, the fields were drawn out on a polo field. There were some horses about as well, which was interesting. Definitely a very wealthy area. Anyway, the games went well, for the most part. Had one high school varsity match where I sent a kid off (red card) but it was an easy call. I also had the under 15 boys final, which was exciting. I feel pretty comfortable with my performance there.
Now that the weekend is over, the immediate future looks less fun. I'm sick now, probably from being outside in the cold and sleet last Tuesday. I have a final this Thursday and three finals next week, in addition to a few high school games along the way. As long as the finals go well, I should be fine in all my classes for this semester. We'll see how it goes.
