Okay. So I didn't go out to wander the desert like I said I was gonna. So sue me (It's too fuckin' hot and dusty out there anyways). What can I say? I'm spontaneous. Instead I decided to mooch around the other barracks for a while (since everyone in Barracks 2 has an attitude problem). But because there ain't a whole lot of activity in Barracks 1

Yeah... I'm sure some of the inhabitants here will be all too willin' to do the demon's dirty-work for 'em. Watching some of 'em goin' all obedient will prob'ly be quite a laugh.

I can guarantee that I won't be one of those, and from the sound of it, neither will you. Taking orders from a low-ranking soldier demon... or any, in fact. Needless to say, that idea doesn't sit well.

Nope, I sure as hell ain't gonna be takin' orders from anyone. Whereas some of 'em mortals might feel they need to get practicin' to improve their skills, I don't. What can I say, I know I'm good. No need to go provin' it 'til the need arises.

True... but we got the right to pick our own fights when and where we want. An' I'm sure there are other things to do other than battle... until it comes to a point where we're forced to fight. Certainly there's plen'y enough to gossip 'bout... place could do with a few more recreational occupations if ya know what I mean... but lazing about will do until such an opportunity arises.

Yeah... an eternity of time-wastage stretched out before ya. Do with it what ya want... I'm gonna make the best of it anyways I can. Some things 'bout this place might suck, but it's good to be able to see the opportunities it presents too.
