*mutters*
I hate family vacations.
Like I said earlier in this log, my bed on the ship is harder than a rock. I was so tired last night that the waves rocked me right to sleep, despite that damned ticking clock. I was forced out of bed at 8:50 because my parents decided we needed to do things on one of our few relaxing days. We had breakfast and then headed for the Coral Theatre for the shopping presentation.
I honestly don’t know why I went. I could have stayed comfortably in the room and read my book. After that it was off to lunch. I am going to gain so much weight on this cruise... *emos and goes to the midnight chocolate buffet* XD
I forced mom to go to the bingo thing... It was $35 to play and we didn’t win anything. ‘Twas all in all a boring and wasted day.
Then we came back to the room to change. The Captain’s Cocktail party was a formal event and required certain attire. The dress I had with me was 1-2 sizes too small. I had to sit through the party, which was an hour long, and dinner, which was 1.5-2 hours. I couldn’t breathe properly, but I did look nice, if nothing else, and got plenty of pictures taken. I might buy one of the professionally done photographs...
We finally got back to the room and into regular clothing. Of course, mom had planned for us to go to the show in the main theatre. I refused to go and WON! They actually agreed to let me stay on my own, in this completely CLOSED environment (but not without protests, of course). I turned on the music video channel and finished a chapter in my book before heading over to Fuel. We played Name That Tune (Cartoon and Classic TV Shows) girls vs. guys. Girls won hands down. I got looked at funny several times because I always got the weird ones no one else knew.
I got online for four minutes and once again no one was on. *emos once again and returns to the midnight chocolate buffet* And then wandered back to the room and wrote this, my overprotective parents none the wiser.
*sighs* I’ve been having trouble breathing recently, and it had nothing to do with the dress. If I breathe too deeply, it catches and rattles in my chest, sometimes makes me choke. I don’t know what’s causing it, but it’s happened before and usually clears when I cough. I don’t know what to do. *sighs and chokes*
‘Tis late again and the movie’s almost over. I shall return tomorrow, having been through Oslo.
