Family, who needs it?
If you want to find a huge group of ungrateful, hyprocritical people, look no further than my family.
Here's the story. I was feeling REALLY depressed about my home situation. One of my friends knows all about it. (You know who you are. :) ) Anyway, she decided to step in and help me and my family out. Which I'm totally grateful for. But here's the thing...my mother...and some of HER friends are blaming ME!
Basically, our house was in DESPERATE need of repair and mom didn't do anything about it. I was miserable and couldn't move out because I couldn't afford it, so I was stuck. All, last year, I had suggested to my mom a bunch of programs that could have helped her out, but she turned them ALL DOWN! Last week, the authorities came and saw just how bad off our house was and NOW mom is doing something. And the same programs, I suggested to her, that she turned down...she's NOW welcoming! And not only did she accuse ME for quote-unquote "RATTING HER OUT", she is accusing one of her best friends! She has nothing to do with it...MY best friend did and I'm so glad she did!
Now if she had taken my suggestions when I told her about them, she wouldn't be in this mess! And If I had wanted to call the authorities on her, I would have done it a long time ago! But for some stupid reason, I actually cared about her and I didn't.
And she wonders why I don't want to help her. THIS is why! Anything I try to do for her is WRONG, but when someone ELSE brings it up, it's the greatest idea since sliced bread! *punches out a wall*
