so yeah, i'm in egypt. my first day here we got all the big and important things done by going to visit the pyramids and the sphynx it seemed odd to be right there at those places and the reality of it all still hasnt set in yet. comparing egypt to india, egypt is way better. it's not all dirty and doesnt have tons of poor people and kids all over you the whole time. right now i'm in Sinia (sp?) which is by the red sea. it's like a resort town, with nothing else here except for hotels, funny thing is... no one's here, there's a few guests at the hotel, but other than that its deserted. driving here from the airport was like arriving in a ghost town, very odd. food here's pretty good. it's funny, most the day we go around seeing sights an stuff, and we're really hungry by the end of the day, drinking beer is no big deal here, or with my parents so i have a beer while we're waiting for our dinners to come, having eating hardly anything all day and drinking a large 8% alcoholic beer, i get pretty buzzed each night at dinner, it's funny as hell. shit, even as i'm typing this, havin a beer. man, getting trashed the night before my flight was a great idea, made the whole flight so much easier. was a bit faded when i came home from sasha's lan and beer pong with nieko. having not slept and having drank my fair share of beer that flight was no problem. it was cool too see my sister in england too, she picked us up at the airport. it was really weird to come out of the airport and see my sister there. got to see her boyfriend's little house, funniest thing ever was the tiny bathroom under the stair case, my sister joked that that was were they kept harry potter. i cant imagine rio living there, which is what is going to happen in february when my sister takes rio back to england to live with her, should be interesting, but not my problem. anywho um yeah.. that's been egypt so far, oh yeah, girls in england were as haggrad as i had expected them to be, and here they arent half bad either and um yeah.... post later ...
