OMGBOAT!!1!
GARGH!
After some pondering about my trip to the great north and my money situation, ive been heavly concidering pushing it back till december, when i get my profit sharing check from work. Everyones tight on cash, Nekocon seems pretty much out of the question since no one is really going, and since ive turned 21, more possibilities have opened up for places to go hang out at. Also, this allows me more time to scrounge up a passport, as the rushed delevery of it would of costed me anywhere from 80 to 180 extra. Im not pleased with this idea, but after some talk with co-workers and doing some breif number crunching, i should possably clear a grand for my profit sharing check, which would help emensely. Only problem is, if i leave around X-mas, the travel costs are going to be higher and its going to generaly suck ass at the airports.
In other news, i pre-ordered half life 2 and got to download Counter-Strike: Source. Its CS done with the new and spiffy-hot-keen Source engine thats going to run half life 2. Verdict? Its CS, but with a hardcore graphical improvement. The maps are all faithfully redone to the orginals but with major improvments on looks and little minor changes that make them feel even more like the areas they were modeled after. It runs wonderfully on my machine and i cant freaking wait till HL2 comes out now... Oh yea, and they beefed up the pump shotty so it hurts even more. Score.
Other crap: I have a pontentialy difficult situation on the horizon that may force me to make a rather difficult choice. Ill post more about that, though, as the situation develops.
... And for those of you wondering what the hell the subject title is about, i was screwing around with Kingdom Hearts and at the begining part where you race Riku to name your raft, i chose to name it OMGBOAT!!1... and i won. It was cool. The end.
